Wastewater Maintenance

The Utilities has established programs to reduce infiltration and inflow from wet weather. We are lining old lines and manholes or replacing them. The Utilities has purchased camera equipment to inspect and prioritize sections for lining and/or repair. Our utilities has a vactor truck used to clean the sanitary collection system by jetting the lines under high pressure to a manhole and then vacuuming out the collected debris to make sure the lines are clean and flowing properly. All new lines are inspected, pressure tested and video tapped to ensure they are installed properly.
