Starting on October 15th, 2018, the Lebanon Utility Water Department will begin their annual fall flush. We will begin on the north side of the water system and work our way south. This process takes between 10-15 business days, depending on the weather.

The reasons for conducting the flushing are to check and maintain water quality and to also make sure that hydrants are operating correctly for fire protection. The water that will be exiting the hydrants will be under high pressure and can be dangerous. Please try to avoid areas where workers are flushing.

Homes and businesses that are in the flushing area may experience a slight drop in water pressure but only for a short period of time. The Lebanon Utility Facebook page and website will have an approximate schedule for flushing. If there are any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the Water Department at 765-482-8851.
